Class Descriptions:
Layered Oil Painting (Indirect Approach)
Perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike. A classical approach to painting the still life in multiple layers over the course of 2–3 lessons. This class is designed for those students attending 3 or more classes.
Alla Prima Oil Painting (Direct Approach)
Perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike. We will complete a small oil painting in only a few hours time! A more casual and spontaneous approach to oil painting. Functions well as a single class, or multiple classes spaced out over several weeks.
Oil Painting Intro Class with Greyscale Painting
Oil painting fundamentals for the beginner student who wants to start out slow and easy. We will go over all of the materials required in oil painting, mix a greyscale together and complete a painting of a sphere using values alone to create the illusion of form on the canvas. This is designed as a single class.
Watercolor Painting
Perfect for beginners. Covering the basics, this class can be tailored to whatever you wish to paint. Functions well as a single class, or multiple classes spaced out over several weeks.

Ages: Classes are open to both Adults and Ages 13+.
Oil Painting Supplies: Sarah will provide most all of the supplies you need. She only asks that her oil painting students bring their own brushes to class (a cost of approximately $25 per student). To purchase oil painting brushes, click here.
Watercolor Supplies: Sarah will provide all of the supplies that you need for watercolor classes.
